Congregation not a church. |
Seems like an important point. Is that you, Michelle Reid? "The majority doesn't always dictate, right?" |
| As long as we retain the right to opt out of everything, I will be relieved. I don’t see the board not going forward with this. |
Unitarian Universalism (UU) is a liberal religion. |
| What schools are piloting this nonsense? |
| Likely title 1 schools without PTAs, and English is not the language spoken at home. They will expand afterwards after a year. |
That makes sense. Fewer involved parents to lodge complaints. I wonder if they'll share the curriculum for the pilot program. Will be interesting to see. |
It spares them from having to make hard decisions when kids change their gender identity. |
Making the kids feel awkward or too embarrassed to ask questions may be the whole point. No questions, no hassles, just talk through the slides. A potential downside is likely increases STIs and infections due to poor hygiene. |
In elementary school? What an anomaly to base policy on! Aren't they trying to teach about gender diversity in elementary school with these changes? Seems suggestive. |
Funny. This is very close to what school board member Melanie Meren said. |
| Which schools specifically are piloting the FLE changes? |
That is a good question. It seems like FCPS leaders and their close friends are trolling this thread. Care to comment? |
In their mind, they think they are creating a healthier, more informed, and accepting society, WHICH IS NOT THEIR ROLE!! The people implementing this policy fall into three categories: They either don't have kids (Frisch), don't like kids (Bill Maher types), or are terrible parents themselves that can be quantitatively measured by their child casualty rate, or the number of times there were police searches for offspring they abandoned in the woods. |
Comment on what? I want to know which schools are piloting the program. Do you know? My question was clear. |
