Exactly. This seems almost troll like in asking the question. You had a much better response than my snarky one that I was going to respond with.

OP here. race isnt nonsense. thanks to those who took this serious for the rest of you, you'd never say the same if I asked for LGBT friendly LAX teams. your prejudice is apparent and hence the need for more diverse team

So the answer to any type of racism or bias isn't segregation. So not sure what your point is.

It's not segregation to ask for a team that specifically understand recruiting for AA boys. Do you think recruiting is the same for everybody?

There is exactly one HBCU playing DI Lacrosse (who knows if they offer scholarships). So your point is moot because recruiting for HBCU type lacrosse is basically non-existent. You don't think clubs don't know how to assist black lacrosse players in getting recruited. My point stands.

Having a DI lax program is very different than having a D1 Scholarship. A good hunch that said schools

there is more than one HBCU that offers lacrosse scholarships. wow not OP but recruitment is non existent? shame on you. VSU and Hampton both have scholarship lax players. also nothing wrong with seeking a team with minority involvement as a mission. Nation United is a great example. strong national team that advertises to minority players but also has white players on the roster. it sounds like the OP had good intent. please don’t judge the lacrosse community on some of the posters here. this is often the cesspool of lacrosse just read other threads

Having a DI lax program is very different than having a D1 Scholarship. A good hunch that said schools don't have a fully funded scholarship program - Villanova just got to fully fund their men's lax scholarships. Most teams outside the top 40 don't fully fund their men's lax scholarship program. So, yes, HCBU recruiting is non existent but for those schools. In other words, most players will have to look at all the other schools for said scholarship and recruiting.

Nations United has exactly 1 team ranked (a 2026) in the 160 range of that age group. They've played a grand total of 6 games. So while you don't want to hurt the OP's feelings, I want to provide actual facts.

As for OP, if they had originally asked about whether teams have diverse players, it would have gone a long way to actually asking a good question - many teams have different levels of diversity on teams. Some better than others (it is a predominately white sport) but instead the OP asked about AA specific programs.
Dude, just drop out of this. D1 scholarships, rankings of youth club teams. Whatever other posts you've made. The OP was asking about african american influenced organizations and clubs in a lily white sport. That's all. People have been coming at him from all angles since almost the 1st reply.

His players might be in 3rd grade and/or at any point in their growth. WTF is wrong with people here? Grow the **** up.

I agree i’m not the OP but the idiot on this thread is clueless. first recruiting is about way more than just scholarship $. most will be recruited to D3 teams anyway. they get tons of aid due to lacrosse. second Nation united only needs a 2026 team. it is a showcase team and had national players and 2026 is the only year that will be recruited this summer. further more why are you assuming that the OP’s DS would only be looking at HBCU’s? Racist much? if the OP is still following this don’t let one idiot influence any part of your sons journey in lacrosse.

nonsense. it was worded fine. replace AA with LGBT and there would have been no issues...

I don’t follow what you mean. I expect that this thread would have gone exactly the same (good and bad) if someone started a discussion about the lack of openly gay players in the local youth lacrosse scene. Both minority groups have roughly equal political status. Is that right or am I missing something?

you are missing brain cells. being black and being LGBTQ+ are not the “same” that is an insult to both groups. totally different life experiences. the point of the OP’s original question which was addressed is that there are some great programs focused on AA players. OP I hope you explore these options.

Interesting that this response refers to the OP in the third person yet has the same style of writing as the OP with no capitalization to start sentences. Seems about as legit as this whole fake thread.

thank you. this was the whole point of the charade. didn't you even notice the question was deliberately opaque, leaving out important details that could have resulted in a quick response? you fell for it hook, line, and sinker, you MAGA dopes.

No you fell for your own charade. Everyone knew it was a charade. Decent people of any background don’t talk like that. Competitive sport, good character is needed regardless of race.
