I actually think club teams only know how to get about half of their team recruited, no matter their race, Add race and it is more complex.

Club teams in our area are terribly bad at recruiting.

OP here not a troll and the fact that a black person is looking for diversity in a almost exclusively white sport is trolling is amazing and shows how little people in this area really care about diversity

that's my point. Regardless of what a black lacrosse player is thinking to go to school, all the options outside of one are just regular colleges. Most colleges have had top end black lacrosse players on their roster - guys like Harrison, Myles Jones, the Bratton Twins and John Christmas at UVA to name a few. I wish it was more but it isn't. This person is looking for a fight for no other reason than wanting to place some emphasis on finding some mythical "diverse" program.

The OP was looking for useful info and got alot of it. In addition to that, they got alot of less useful opinions. Saying race doesn't matter is a weird comment. Maybe it came off different than you intended but I'm glad the useful info didn't get drowned out by the comments trying to shut down anything that might acknowledge the existence of prejudice and bias.
