The sport is essentially capped. Look for schools to start charging the same amount as football and basketball to even keep them around.

Not true about the 45 on the bench. No limit.

So what about 45vs52 or no limit. If colleges have to pay football and basketball players, they will be looking at lax a lot harder. Wouldn’t surprise me if d1 teams go away.

Heard SJC is playing NHSLS in June. We’ll see how they stack up nationally

I believe most area HS teams are playing at NHSLS.

You do realize these are glorified scrimmages.

They play most players and most try to win. You also have tired legs with NHSLS in front of Naptown and on the back end of Naptown.

SJC doesn't usually play committed kids. Relax. Wins at NHSLS just isn't that important to them. SJC just played a National Non Conference schedule.

Episcopal will be better next spring, they bring back most of their squad.

I'm not buying the GC hype. The Falcons beat nobody this year except DeMatha back in March.

Same for SSSA. And rumor is that PVI is on the coaching market again too. Hard to predict a team at Dematha, SSSA, St Mary's or PVI without a coach.

Gotta figure Ince is in high demand for the DC local jobs, maybe not all the way to Naptown, given recent SJC history and club ties.

Anyone other chatter about who might fill openings?

I could see Ince taking the Saint Mary's job.

Don't know how attractive the DeMatha HC job really is as the institution as a whole cares too much about football and hoops.

It would be a shame if the PVI job is open yet again - I hope that is just hersey.

Pretty obvious where ince is ending up. I guess there really aren't any real sjc folks on here except a few students.

They are one of the few that play a deep roster at NHSLS. Speaks doesn’t care about winning NHSLS.

Most teams play a deep roster at NHSLS this is for recruiting.

If true I am not surprised about PVI. School does not care about lacrosse and no JV team make that a tough place to build from here.
