Presumably the reunion point is for kids who were already out of the building for lunch.

Logically, it's for parents who are cluttering up the space around the school. Other parents who didn't rush to the school can stay put. Buses will eventually get kids whenever they receive the all-clear. I'm not going - it's lunchtime and dog needs walking.

A piece of reassurance I offered my kid is that people who actually want to do harm, don’t generally advertise it—this is most likely designed to create fear and chaos, rather than a legitimate threat. This is someone taking advantage of the fear from earlier this week

BCC PTSA is getting clarification right now. All police wants is to have room to maneuver around the school, should they have to. Apparently there's a lot of traffic around the school. Students and parents who are outside the campus should go to Lynbrook.

I wonder if it's the same kid who was transfered from another high school for aggressive behavior and has been nothing but trouble for BCC.

We should put taxpayer dollars to building a permanent school for violent students, instead of having one small building that kids pass through, then return to mainstream education to sow chaos.

Yes, that’s the information the students that are with me have found so far. Idk how true it is as we are trying to not talk other than a few whispers when we find something. They told me it is the same kid from monday with the gun. How real or not, we don’t know but is the info we have at the moment.

If this is true, MCPS/MCPD really should be ashamed since they know who the kid is and they let him flee the building.
