My MIL does not wash her hands after using the bathroom

Anonymous
That's so nasty. Call her out on her bs be direct. "Did you try that new soap MARTHA?"

I don't use soap when I wash my hands out in public because I have eczema and it causes them to break out and then split open into oozy wounds. This is less healthy and utimately spreads more germs than if I vigorously wash with water. The soap doesn't do as much as the
rubbing and rinsing to remove germs, you know.

I'm sure people are judging me, but they are ignorant of the circumstances. I do use soap at home because it's soap I'm not allergic to.

I have this too. I think people are judging the ones that don’t wash at all.

Some of us don’t like fecal matter spread around our houses. We’re so strange.

Some of us can go to the bath without getting fecal matter on ourselves.

Gross and arrogant and rude. Has a director like this. I despised her for this lack of social training.

An educated fool. PhD. One who expected to be called doctor. She embarrassed herself.

Then carry the soap you need with you.
You change tampons, pads, or have a bowel movement while out and you don’t use soap- NOOOOOOO!

I would say something- no
You cannot not wash your hands and touch stuff in my house.

Anonymous wrote:Your MIL should wash her hands but so many people on DCUM are hysterical about “germs,” I can’t believe people live this way.

Actually what I can’t believe is that people live with this level of anxiety about contamination and illness but then are comforted by rituals that don’t have a lot of evidence or efficacy. If you’re going to be hysterical, why not at least go take a microbiology class or something? Food safety certification?

You’re joking, right? Um. Lots of evidence that handwashing kills most germs. You sound gross. 🤢

When we travel internationally, sometimes to developing countries, we will get to the hotel after 20 hours of traveling, he will go to use the bathroom before me and when I go in, all the soaps are still in their little packets. It is so gross and has been the biggest turn off for me. But I am not a germophobe so I am not worried about that, it’s just yucky.

WTF, his germy filled rotted penis goes in you. How does he wash the germs off? Just water?!!!🤮🤢🤢

Lots of people don’t. My office is directly across from the bathroom. There are days when I go in there after several people have used it and there is not a single paper towel in the trash.

She stayed with us for a week when my kids were young and she didn’t shower once. The entire 7 days. She said she “didn’t have time” b/c she was busy watching the kids. We were home in the mornings and evenings. She had plenty of time. She’s just gross.

Does your husband have an explanation for this?

Has she been this way her entire life?

Did she have better hygiene when he was growing up?

I hate bars if soap and usually use a drop of shampoo or bath gel in hotels. Maybe he is the same.

Why are you lazy, gross people making excuses for other lazy, gross people?

you go to the bathroom, take down your pants, use TP to wipe and likely your hand NEVER touches any part of the body because it's wrapped in TP.
Why are we so anal (pun intended ) about this?

Yes, someone explain this please!

I wonder the same. Those who feel a woman who leaves the bathroom without washing her hands must be covered in urine and fecal matter....what do those people do in the bathroom? I don't touch my body or urine or feces when I use the bathroom. I assume those horrified must use their hands to wipe themselves? How else do they get so dirty and germy?
