Housekeeping Rates

We currently pay the equivalent of $45/hr and she recently asked for the equivalent of $50/hr. We said no based on our neighbors and friends who all pay in the $30/hr/person range and their cleaners work in teams and get done in half the time, which we'd prefer.

This is what I prefer too, but it seems like teams would be more expensive, especially through services.
Are most of the people posting on here paying teams like 150-175 for just 2 hours or so using a service? Or did you get lucky and found a team of indy friends?

We pay around the equivalent of $50/hr per person. Two people come and spend about 3.5 hours. It's high, but they are completely legal and we trust them enormously.

we pay an indecent lady with a team of 3 others. They work very fast and we are very clean to begin with. We pay her $150 and they are in and out in 45min. Top 2 levels only 2400sqft, no pets no clutter. Family of 3
now. I think this is very cheap.

Does anyone get their house cleaned just every four weeks? I had been using a service that was OK for several years and they were charging $140 per cleaning but my house is only 1200 square feet with one bathroom.

I stopped using them about six months ago, but wonder if it’s reasonable to expect anything cheaper.
