$140once a week. Team of 3 and they are done in 2 hrs. I also pay for a deep clean once every two years and thats like $500 and they stay longer and get into all the nooks and crannies like window sills (opening the double hungs first) etc. 2000 sq ft house. But with little kids sk its more cluttered than id like.

We pay $180 for monthly (2800 sf, 3 bathrooms). We did switch companies as the folks we had before that did bi weekly tried to raise prices from $200 (for biweekly) to $350 for monthly. They were very detailed oriented and we liked the owner but it didnt make sense financially.

I had been feeling cheap for only paying my cleaner $150 for cleaning my 2,000 sq foot home monthly (we do monthly for the same reasons as the PP who teleworks and has a napping kid). She works for 3 hours by herself or 2 hours if she brings a friend. She’s not very thorough but I don’t expect more for what I’m paying. When I interviewed cleaners, they all quoted me $150-250.

Agree. I pay 250 for 5000sq feet.

It's because you can be 4 or 5 people in a 3,000 sf or 5,000 sf house and will still use the same number of bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry and kitchen.

$180 once a week for 2400 sq ft. They are here for about 2 hours. I don’t know how many of them there are but they are legion.

Surely a 6,000 sq foot house has more than the 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths that my 2,000 sq foot house has. Based on the number of man hours PPs quoted, most of their house cleaners are getting paid less per hour than mine. Especially if they’re working for an agency that takes a cut. Mine is independent.
