| I would be absolutely horrified if my sister did this. Would you consider telling your friend so that she can decide whether to put this to a stop if she chooses. I realize it's a surprise gift, but my goodness I would be very, very surprised, and furious, if I found out anyone sent this type of email to any of my friends. Even if the emailing sister has the best of intentions. Perhaps if she knew, she could ask for a follow up email stating that, in fact, she had grown tired of D-land, and would really like to invite her friends for a party, brunch, you name it. |

I could see contributing towards deprived or sick children taking a trip to Disneyland, but a 35-year old woman?
Is she intellectually challenged? This is embarrassing on so many levels. |
| It's definitely tacky, but it doesn't really offend me the way it does some of the PPs, I guess because the sister did it without your friend's knowledge, so who really cares? Just don't respond or contribute. Your friend won't even know you were solicited. |
