you used to be able to get all the grades on one screen now you have to click into a different assignment view to get the overview.

Parents do not want to see the stupid grades by week. That's just POOR POOR design.
Why can't MCPS get anything right?

I dealt with ParentVue all though my dds' HS years.

It's the worst tool ever and should be dropped by schools. It causes too many problems.

At the very least, grades shouldn't be posted there. I learned very early on not to trust it telling me my kid was failing a class, or whatever because the teachers were weeks behind on updating it.

Utterly worthless tool. Probably causes a lot of fights in houses too where parents think their kids aren't turning in work they've turned in.

Why are we talking about UI design when the thing is just spewing error messages on every page?

Why does it not show GPA anywhere?

+1
Some kid apparently created a better interface and it works on top of StudentVue and that's what the kids use. Incredible how some kid just hacked it together in their spare time and our well funded school district who has lots of full time staff can't manage to put together something that's minimally useful.

What is it called? One was shut down and grade melon no longer works after the update. My kid liked being able to see GPA and “what if” grades by inputting an assignment that hadn’t hit the system but was in canvas.

Works great for me. Assuming this is user error?...

New interface as of Tuesday February 17th is full of glitches. Hope MCPS fixes it soon.

Works just the same as yesterday for me. I don't expect much, and it has the basic information I want, so, can't complain. I didn't pay 60K a year of private school tuition for it...

Do...any of you...ever just...hear yourself? Troubleshoot-YOURSELF. Figure it out. The learned helplessness we are all seeing in students all over the country right now is alive in this thread-it clearly starts at home, with parents. Do better. For the sake of humanity, start doing better.

Free with taxes. I always remind myself of that!

Free? Taxes are "free"??

Used to be able to get to MCPS Classroom direct from ParentVue main page -- now I can't ... working from a PC not from the mobile app. Any advice?

Click on the myMCPS Classroom button, then click "Access myMCPS Classroom using a browser."

Still doesn’t work. Although to be fair, it often gave me an error message well before this update.

It works for me. What does your error message say?
