They are celebrities. Stop acting like they are some fed lawyer couple who live in a row house on Capitol Hill. They absolutely should not rush into marriage given their financial situations and lifestyles.

DJ definitely has issues. Her mom was only 14 when she started dating her dad who was in his 20's. Ew. Then her mom dated around, brought a stepdad into the picture when DJ was young etc. She's easy to hate, but I feel bad for her too.

May be he is a great guy, must be to enaor two super wealthy, gorgeous, famous, connected young women.

Yeah, I don't get his appeal. I think some women just really like being with a "rock star" (scare quotes necessary because I struggle to call Coldplay "rock" music). I also think he's the kind of guy who would giggle at all your jokes. Maybe that's the secret sauce? He is physically not appealing to me at all, and if I were already rich and fairly successful, I just don't know what the draw would be. It's not like he's helping these women level up socially or financially. A mystery.

I'm not a Coldplay fan but there's really no denying his genius. He anyone in the last 25 years sold more records, concert tickets, and gotten more publishing money for their songs than Chris Martin?

Am I supposed to be rooting for the almost-50 yr old man to have a couple more kids with his replacement wife (seriously, she's just brunette Gwyneth in many respects)?

Good for them, I guess. I give it 10 years, tops.

He’s like a billionaire musical genius, and still handsome, so why wouldn’t he go for a younger woman? Especially if he wants more kids.

He is not a billionaire

And he's not handsome.

+1. Why bother getting married anyway? They’ll just split up in a couple years.
