What is the question? That was copied and pasted from my child's Playmetrics account. This covers club fees, tournaments, league play, and coaches are paid. We get 3 practices a week during season play and twice a week through winter and part of the summer. Worth every penny to us. |
| That's great! I don't think anybody is saying anything other than putting out what the costs are. You've posted VRSC's general travel fees, others have posted what their GA fees will be, customers will choose accordingly just like any other product around. |
Got it
Bottom line is everyone needs to research clubs for themselves and make the best choice for their child and family. Each club has pros and cons, no one is going to be completely perfect. |
| Everyone will have a unique experience at each club, nit every age and gender is the same for each club. Have your own experience and find a coach, team and location that works for you and ignore the loser trolls on this wretched site |
Truth! Their coaches are USSF A and/or UEFA A credentialed, they have a long and proven track record of player development which is easily seen in the success of the teams that they field, and a college placement program that is second to none in the DMV! The GA recognized all this and, combined with their exceptional vision and world class infrastructure, it was an easy decision to add them to the league! Yes, the pricing may be a tad on the high side but this is the best club in the DMV and it would be a steal at twice the price! If your DC is good enough, this is the place you want to be. Stop wasting your time and money anywhere else and get on over to Revolution! Tell 'em Niko sent ya! |
| Is that Riki Bobby |

Absolutely no chance every coach at Revolution has an A license (or UEFA equivalent). I would be surprised if more than 5 have that level of licensing.
That being said there are plenty of very good coaches who don’t have an A license all over the area. It takes a lot of time to get an A license and there are always waiting lists for courses and requirements about time between getting one and then the next. CC may have an A. Who else at Revolution does? |
Seriously take your smart a$$ troll self somewhere else, this is just rude to those who have found Revolution to be a good club and there are teams with a good record. The record may not be in your precious Ga , ECNL and MLS league but these kids work hard and have some talent. Your club and players are not the only good players out there. |
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there was probably a little bit of sarcasm in that post. |
| It's good if you want to drink heavily at the bar to forget how bad everything else is! LOL |
| It's subjective. My kid likes it better than another nearby big club |
To put this in perspective While holding a master's degree is commendable, it doesn't guarantee a broad perspective or common sense. AKA It doesn't really matter, except on paper. We had a coach one year who was going after his A License, and he was one of the biggest jokes of a coach know to any soccer club at a high level. Nice person and well liked among our team, but NOT a good coach. Just could not figure out how to break through to the players and get the wins. Alternatively, one of our best coaches we ever played for already had his A License for many years, and was always put with developmental age groups (C-D teams), and his teams didn't do so hot because they were "developmental'", but still had potential and the coaches believed in his teams. The players just didn't have enough talent or will to get to the next level. So your options are a Bachelors with heart and experience, or Masters with the paper to say you checked the boxes. Take from that what you will. |
Mine does too. We don't care about the alphabet soup of leagues, but my kids is thriving at VR and he adores his coach who actually cares about his team and gives them the time and attention to build a connection the the players. Super fun to watch. My player is happy playing soccer and that's the bottom line for us. |
