You should go out and see yourself. Ask if your kid can practice with a team and find out what they think. You'll get everything from 'they are the worst of the worst' to ' they are great and are doing stuff to make them the best club around' on this site

It just seems like they have 1-2 rich parents bankrolling and calling all the shots behind the scenes…also being added to the failing GA is a weird move, I heard there were single digits at some tryouts

I think most parents of VRSC are happy with the club. The fields are beautiful! The club overall is very organized and communication with parents is great. Most travel teams play in NCSL currently and a few play in EDP. They invest in the club too. We have had great coaches so far over three years.

The last two comments show exactly what the 9:55 poster was saying. Go see for yourself

Most of these replies are from people that really have no clue about the club. Parents and kids are pretty welcoming from what I have seen.

I agree with this 100% This has been our experience as well.

I would do like what was suggested before and have your child go for a practice and see for themselves if this is a fit for them.

The posted who said the club is bankrolled by a couple of wealthy parents is completely wrong. The one investor they are referring to does not bankroll the club. He is an investor in the facility not the club.

Again, check it out for yourself with a practice. Just like any club you are going to have those who love it, those who think it is just ok, and those who hate it like a few who constantly berate the club on this board.

They are very expensive for the leagues that they play in and none of their teams are particularly good. They have a nice facility with a bar.

Great complex, mid to lower level of soccer.
