Thats not a bad placeholder for a 2nd team. But, I believe that all GA2 teams should be moved into the new Aspire GA2 league in the fall. With an opportunity for regional and national championship if teams do well enough in league play.

This was for Fall. It’s a bad look - especially if they VRSC GA teams are pushed down to Aspire as appears to be the case. We will be leaving - can’t justify it any longer at that point.

Same

U15 and U16 teams play high school in the spring, EDP (where they played in the fall) only plays in the fall to accommodate the high school schedules. Playing in NCSL gives those teams more game time on the weekends that doesn’t conflict with high school.

No, the teams aren't complete. They are looking to add players on all teams at all age groups through ID sessions rather than tryouts. every team currently has at least 3_4 positions open.ypubcam register for an id session at any time on their website.

No. If the team has good players who can come in and take over seamlessly the back line will also be subbed.

Your kid's team isn't deep. That's ok. But, please don't try and act knowledgeable about things.

Are you saying the VRSC GA teams are going to ASPIRE? Or do you mean VRSC GA2s team is going to ASPIRE?

There is no way VRSC’s first teams are going to Aspire when they currently are midtable in only their first GA season, particularly when people at the club have been close to GA since its inception. NVA/LS boosters are pitching a false story to keep their players from bolting to VRSC, a club that actually values its girls program.

Just simply ask the VRSC club reps.

Confirmed by TD, VRSC GA teams will remain/play in GA and GA2 will move to Aspire for 25/26. Sorry to quash the rumors before NVA ID sessions.

The NVA / LS players who are talking to VRSC already know this.

I’ve watched a few of the fav games and the VRSC games. The center backs on most teams are usually the favorites who get to play the whole game. They love to put girls there who just kick the ball out. Unfortunately these kids can’t connect a single pass consistently and although they look really good, a trained eye says otherwise. Most of these kids struggle at the next level because they never actually develop skills. The coaches do a disservice to these girls by not taking them out of the game when they don’t play well and it hurts the entire team.

News flash, Coaches rarely take out the center backs during the game at any level. Some coaches want the center backs to just smash it down field and come coaches want controlled distribution out of the back. Both tactics have their place depending on the opponent.

Complete? No.
Compete? Also no.

At least start a new thread for proper trolling. Why are you trying to rage bait off a year old thread?
