Would you pull your kids for special time the rest of the week before starting a new job/no PTO?

K and 1st - absolutely yes. Jr high - prob not or 1 day. HS - no.

Core memories in the making. So fun! I regret no days I pulled my kids from school. Even in HS we do a day or two a year to extend a weekend or break. Honors/A students and it’s not been an issue.

I would absolutely pull them. Cabin seems kind of lame. I personally would do something better but you do you.

Anddddd we have norovirus. With 1 bathroom. And no laundry machines. And a puke filled car. And no cleaning supplies. And no coats bc puked on those. And no booster seats bc puked on those.

Yes!!

There will always be chores etc to occupy you but this will be a fun and memorable way to remember the time between jobs.

Unfortunately yes. I also realized I don't even have coffee and there's no delivery services here (first world problems I know, but I haven't slept)
