I haven’t posted anything about her looks and I agree some of the comments are over the top. But this is not a photo shoot or a video of an actual human person, and people are reacting to that. It is so incredibly edited, so fake, and that sort of unrealistic expectation is harmful.

So do you think she’s posting for the swimsuit issue to brag about her smarts? She’s posing for her looks so her looks are up for debate. She’s doing it for publicity so it’s publicity she gets. That swimsuit is so strategically placed that one more mm and her crotch would be in full display. Now that’s trashy.

Hmm. It doesn't look similar to other pictures I have seen of her - her face looks different. By no means am I saying she looks ugly in other photos - just more like a reasonably attractive regular person. It would have been nice if they had not doctored the photos up so much, and just had the focus be on her as a normal human being in good shape.

Wouldn’t she have agreed to the photoshopping? The face doesn’t look like her at all. And then all the stupid statements that she’s “unapologetically herself”, that she hopes all women will be inspired.

It’s fake. That’s why people are responding negatively.
