That family is a MESS.

They seem trashy.

The downfall of the entire Mahomes crew - including Patrick and Brittney - will be a trashy spectacle to behold. The money is not going to last. Further, money will never buy class.

Money won’t last? LOL. He’s going to be a billionaire. They literally could not spend that fast enough. Their grandkids will be filthy rich.

NP, sorry but you’d be surprised how quickly professional athletes go through their money. (Most of them aren’t the brightest and the people they surround themselves with aren’t the most ethical…) This crew will go through it all. You’ll see.

+1. The money will last longer than most because Patrick is so bankable now and for the foreseeable future. But they're Powerball lottery winners at heart, and they're going to find a way to lose most, if not all, of it.

The two homes they own are worth way less than Patrick makes in a single year. And he’s so nice and likable, he’ll have a broadcast career waiting for him. I don’t see finances being an issue.

Have you heard the man speak? He'll only get a broadcast career if Sesame Street starts airing NFL games

Every family has problems.

I felt so sorry for Patrick that his father had a third DUI. It didn't throw Patrick from his game.

Patrick has been mentored by Payton Manning. And Coach Andy Reid is his coach and mentor.

Agreed. Patrick is super likable, imo. And seems like a fun and decent guy. Funny too. They are HS sweethearts and seem to genuinely love each other. I don't have an opinion on her as she is not a public figure and know next to nothing about her.

People love to hate on others for no reason. I don't get it.

Do tell how a woman who married her HS sweetheart and has two kids, and seems to love her family, is "trashy" and tacky? Is it bc she's "new money"? If so, your envy is showing.

I don't know. Maybe people that don't watch the games closely find him likable, from his commercials. But anyone that watched the way he behaved after the Bills/Chiefs game finds him a whiny little baby, who refused to acknowledge/apologize for his bad behavior.

He's handsome, too, and people are more forgiving when it comes to attractive peeps.

This is not new.

I’m Gen X and athletes’ wives were never public figures the way they are now. It’s weird and unnecessary. None of them are pretty enough or interesting enough to garner this much attention.

Mahomes’ wife is all over the media, and it started before the Super Bowl coverage.

Anyone remember who Michael Jordan’s wife was at the height of his fame?

It’s one thing if you are Taylor Swift or a Kardashian since they are celebrities in their own right. But some haus frau married to an athlete simply shouldn’t get so much attention.

I honestly think the NFL is trying to boost interest and ratings by pushing these housewives into the limelight. It’s stupid.

Iknorite? Wayne Gretzky’s gf/wife Janet never made the news, and Joe Montana was never in a Schlick commercial with his gf/wife.

These kids today, right?

Didn't Wayne Gretzky date (or marry) Carol Alt? Also, the wives in football have been famous. Tom Brady had Giselle, Patrick Mahomes has Brittany. The wives become woman of high status.

I assume you’re joking re: Giselle becoming a woman of high status BECAUSE OF Tom Brady???

+1

Brittany ain't no Giselle.

Brittany is 20 years younger. She's the "Giselle" of this generation (from a football wives perspective.)

Which generation???

Not at all. Much prettier WAGS than her.

That comment went right over your head. Mahomes is the new TB which means that Brittany is the new Giselle. Pretty has nothing to do with it.

Brittany Mahomes is Gen Z. Giselle, although quite beautiful, is a “geriatric millennial.”

Anyone who is rude to staff and doesn't tip is trashy and tacky.

I really don't put much stock in the opinions who judge a person as unlikeable for things like that. It's a game. The athletes all lose their cool at some point. Maybe there are the few that have not. That doesn't make me judge the entirety of him as "whiney baby" or anything else. But I guess I don't apply judgment in such a simple, black and white manner, as you do.

And yet here you are being rude af about a woman you know thing about, other than celebrity gossip. What does that say about you?

Sure, but when all we have to judge him on is:

- his candid on-field behavior
- commercials

I'll put more stock into the on-field behavior as an indicator of his true self
