You got ripped off. Got two large pizza's with one topping and bread sticks for $20, 23 with tip but we picked it up. |
Yes, my spouse does. I prefer the Betty Crocker for pizza |

Op,
Could you post the recipe for the dough and sauce? |
+1 I have having food delivered. I like my food hot and fresh. |
+1 Enquiring minds want to know, please share your recipe. |
I make it at home + it is super easy: -yeast pack - empty into bowl. Add 2 cups warm water + a dash of salt and a dash of sugar or honey. . Let stand for 5 minutes. Add 4 cups of floor. Cover with towel and let rise for about an hour. This dough yields 2 sheet pan pizza for me. I get dough crispy by rolling dough very thin, add toppings and bake at 500 degrees for 15 minutes in pre- heated oven. Makes perfectly crispy pizza. I always have an extra dough, covered in plastic in fridge to make last minute pizza. My husband loves the thin crispy pizzas I make more than a lot of carryout pizza places. |
Same. I think it's telling all these frozen recs or make from home are being compared to Papa John's/Domino's/Boli's, etc. I mean, yeah maybe, but that's all trash takeout! |
You can if you get an Ooni. |

We no longer do delivery but it is still reasonable at many places to call in an order and pick up a pizza. When we do delivery the fees and tip make it $20 extra.
The Pizza Hut chain in California fired 1200 drivers in December because the company said it was just too expensive to pay drivers because the min fast food wage in CA is increasing to $20 an hour in a few months. |
Funny how their parent company doing a 2 billion dollar stock buyback 2 years ago wasn't too expensive for them... |
We do something similar in the summer when we make pizza on the grill. But most of the time we use pizza stones. To get a good crust you need to get the stones hot enough- we heat the oven to 550 and let them go well beyond the preheat. |
How do you get into Costco just for a pizza? You have to park super far away and it takes forever just to get in and out. The line for the food is long too. I love Costco but it’s wild how long the wait is. |
A large, single-purpose pan I need to store and clean? No thanks. |
| Don't order it, don't make it, don't eat it voluntarily. |
| Squisito has pretty decent Jersey style pizza. On Mondays there is a deal - two plain pies for ~$20. It’s in my way home from work so I stop and get two. We freeze what we don’t finish. Easy, good and cheap! |
