They aren't. |
You willing to bet your mortgage on that assertion bud? |
Yes, with the key word being "good" in that sentence. |
Yes, I say now ECNL players from 2008, 2009, 2010 will move to GA; unless that player is being cut by the ECNL team |
or that player does not get playing time on the ECNL team. |

ECNL is a clear cut above GA. Not saying GA is bad. Admit that many GA Clubs are just as good as ECNL clubs, some better. It looks like ECNL will poach some of the better GA clubs. GA product by no means dead. I can see someone people switching to GA if it is closer to home. I can see a switch if a bench player on an ECNL team. I can see a switch out of Brave at many age groups.
But the starters on local ECNL teams are not switching to GA. Recruiting is just too strong at ECNL. Recruiting can work in GA for the top of the roster. Most ECNL girls get commits, even at Brave. NVA, Union, Arlington and VDA likely commit every girl. Tough to go to D1 or high academic D3 without ECNL. It can be done from the top of the GA oster but it can be done most of the way through the ECNL rosters. |
