Today was TOUGH for me.

Today I woke up and I knew that the word started with e. Chose evoke, so I got the actual word on the second try. I really try to listen to my intuition rather than playing the first word mindlessly.

My order is Wordle, mini, connections, and then, lastly, spelling bee. Spelling bee is last because I might go back to it throughout the day to find more words. I'm impressed by those who have gotten queen bee. I have never gotten that. My sister gets it regularly, I am frequently genius level, but alas never queen bee

I also do the crossword puzzle, but that's not a daily puzzle for me,

Wait, what is Queen Bee? I pay for NYT and mine goes to Genius as the highest level?

Queen Bee is getting every word!
I didn't know about it either until I saw it referred to in the comments. One day I got it and that was cool.

Today's was crazy hard!

Daily I play Wordle, Connections and Mini

I get obsessive with Spelling Bee and have to make myself stop.

Daily crossword the night before for m-th, but fri/sat/sun usually require me to spend some time during the day as well. I have over a year streak. I do the wordle and connections with with my kids, but sometimes we skip it when they are busy. I only really care about the crossword. Spelling bee if I have time. The kids do the minis with my help if necessary.

I don’t go to bed until I’ve played the Mini, Wordle and Connections. It helps me settle my mind to focus on those puzzles from everything else in my day.

I got today’s mini in 1:21 today. Just waiting for Wordle and Connections to drop now…

I do the crossword, the mini and wordle.
My PBs are crossword in 12 minutes, mini in 20 seconds and wordle on the second line.

Are you one of my relatives?
Yes, I do the three you mentioned almost every night at midnight, as do several of my familly members.

You know the Crossword and Mini usually drop around 10 pm….. I do those once they hit and then at midnight/before bed I do Connections and Wordle. Don’t like Spelling Bee.

Wordle daily, and then often some discussion on the groupchat.

I do Connections mostly every day. Spelling Bee on less busy days. My rule is no hints up to Genius and then I can look at clues to get Queen Bee.

Curious if anyone has yet solved the shared account wordle problem? We have one family account -- if I log in and someone has done wordle, it is already solved.

Wordless, Connections, then spelling bee all with my morning tea. I play spelling bee until genius and then come back through the day if another word occurs to me.

Crosswords confound me. I can only do Monday through Wednesday then they get too hard.

How do we all feel about using the Spelling Bee Buddy? Cheating or not?
FWIW, I only use it once I have hit genius and am within 10 of finding all the words

NP. After you get Genius you can select “Keep Playing”, and if you get every possible word you are Queen Bee 🐝

I had no idea about this! Great, now I can spend even more time on that game...

Yes. Unless I am having a totally chaotic day I will do Wordle, Spelling Bee until I get genius, Connections, and attempt the crossword, in that order. I play all Spelling Bees eventually and am glad they put the full last two weeks up.

Keep at it. There are so many clues that you'll see over and over again and some things will come to you that you didn't even know you knew! It's like Jeopardy. There is a pattern/style (I can't think of the best way to say it) to the clues. Once you figure it out, it makes it easier.

There are also some funny tricks like if an Indian tribe in a crossword puzzle is mentioned it's either Otoe or Erie because of the vowels. If the words Japan and religion are on Jeopardy, the question is What is Shinto. Doing both for years and years shows a ton of repetition.

I also do Connections, Wordle, and Spelling Bee daily. Sometimes I’ll do Sudoku, and I’m not a huge fan of Tiles or Letter Boxed.

Wait like you have gotten gold Monday through Sunday for multiple years?!? I am so impressed! It's usually a stupid Saturday puzzle that takes me down. Sundays I'm good at.

PP here. Yup, I did the math and I’ve gotten gold every day for over five years. Yes, I’m ridiculous.

Yup, look at the answers the next day to see what you missed. You could also Google Rex NYT crossword puzzle. It's a blog by a guy who does it everyday. He's pretty arrogant but will give you the answers right away.
If you haven't already, you'll eventually learn the tricks. For example, the answer will never be a word in the clue. If the clue is given in the past tense, the answer will be in the past tense. Usually, but not always, if the clue is plural, answer will be plural. If there's an abbreviation in the clue, the answer will be an abbreivation. etc...
