bored teenagers?

Maret students?

Nah.

It was 1 guy on an electric scooter. Just a lot of property damage for no real reason. Was not rifling cars. Just smashing glass.

Sounds like a road design issue.

Need a line of mailboxes for them to smash too. Why are we not setting up more smashable things on the pathway? It's very satisfying.

Why haven't auto manufacturers invented stronger windows with interior emergency unlocks?

I have never been drowning in my car and needed to immediately smash a window with a tiny shard of ceramic.

Just normal boy prank behavior tho. Also another duo, a nine and thirteen year old, were also arrested last night for robbery with a knife

I really think we need to start charging their parents. Why is a 9 year old roaming around at night without an adult or parent? Something has to give.

Don’t you know that his parents are too busy to watch him because they are at their 3rd job, toiling away all night? šŸ™„

The city has been a literal war zone over the last month or so. And when I mean war zone I mean multiple shoot outs with Ak-47s

How is recalling Allen going to fix crime? Does simply removing him fix everything?

Seriously. If there’s no accountability for criminals, why should there be accountability for their enablers?

The only way to get a handle on this is ā€œmass incarcerationā€ of ā€œjuvenile offendersā€ā€”here meaning up to age 26 evidently—and this will never, ever happen. DC government has no interest in protecting crime victims, those in positions of authority on such matters care only about the offenders. This is not going to change anytime soon.

Actually you can do a curfew for kids it was very effective in Pg county to get a handle on things after covid

Sarcasm I hope or otherwise a very stupid comment.

Can't they see that we will not progress in any way as a city until we get this crime wave under control? It has to be the top priority for everyone. And it will require real work, not silly resolutions.

That ANC is a clear and present threat to Ward 3. It’s a rouge’s gallery of Hamas supporters, socialists, and other malcontents.

Saying Israel should slow down or even stop with the kid and women killing in Gaza isnt the same thing as being "pro-Hamas".

In DC the most powerful political bloc is the cell block.
