What happens to January Open of snow?

Thanks! Saw the multiple posts about the cancellation but missed that explanation. Bad for the meet, but glad to know it is mechanical and not medical.

The meet looks like a bust. Pump still isn’t fixed and will need to run for a few hours before swimmers can get in.

Is there a particular meet that NCAP West typically does instead of PVS January Open? If so, why?

NCAP West was at the Mako Polar Plunge meet two weekends ago. Not sure if that's their typical Jan schedule or just a one-off. No idea why!

We actually do a meet in Warrenton the first week of January that is also called Polar Plunge. It is hosted by a VA Swimming club, VSTP. We also go to IMX next weekend. I’m not sure exactly why we do that one, but part of West trains at the pool in Warrenton so maybe that’s why.
