We drove and parked at City Center for $10. It's a 5 min walk from the arena. Thousands of people streaming out and doing the same thing at 12:45 so it didn't feel sketchy.

Frankly, they've cleaned up downtown a lot. It was also bitterly cold last night, so no one was really out except people leaving the arena and local hospitality workers going home for the night.

There was a police involved shooting 2 blocks away around 8:30, when the show was supposed to start. Also very close to the holiday market. The man shot had a gun and fled from police. So, not that cleaned up.

Glad you had a nice time. Her shows are not selling out so anyone interested can score last minute. Enjoy!

We walked from Zatenya to the arena at 930pm. Didn't see anything, it was very calm.

Literally saw two homeless people in our entire time downtown. It's a lot less than a year ago.

Unclench. It was fine. There will be crime in cities.

NP. You're cute. You see two homeless people in one evening downtown and tell others to "unclench" on the basis of that. You don't get that you're equating visible homeless people with crime, do you? The ones committing crimes around there aren't the homeless you see on grates trying to stay warm, idiot.

You seem pitifully unaware of the huge spike in crime including carjackings and muggings in DC, including the area around the arena, in the past year or so. But you do you, brave ol' city dweller. I know that area well and it's unquestionably less safe, night or day, than it was a year ago. A simple search online would have told you that, with plenty of statistics, but you can't be bothered because as long as YOU feel safe and cozy, it's all good, right?

I wish I would’ve seen this earlier. We are sitting in the arena and were wondering why it’s so empty. We didn’t receive an email.

The garage we parked in closes at 12:30.

You'll be there a while. You'll be able to get through most of the show by 1210.

Glad she recognizes her fans want to hear her old stuff. I don't think I could trust she'd do right by us

All her shows are amazing even starting late. Not sure what concert you saw 10 years ago but it wasn’t Madonna

Ha. Yeah. We’ll probably leave at midnight. I imagine others will leave earlier if they took Metro.

Right now some crappy DJ is on and it’s like that scene from “Coming To America” where “Sexual Chocolate” playing in the church.

I’m here in Dc waiting. I don’t know why now at her age this is necessary. I’m a fan but this is bordering on rude. Why 2 hours? One I can live with. Come on.

Overall disappointing. I love Madonna but a 2.5+ hour delay on a weeknight is killer. We were exhausted and unfortunate this meant patrons couldn't metro home. Her voice sounded good and the dancers were amazing, but it wasn't worth the wait. The sounds was terrible -- the bass was insanely loud and we'll probably all have hearing damage.

dang two hours late again??

Why not just say the damn thing starts at 930? Why lie? Is it some gimmick to juice up food and drink sales? Pathetic.

Did they even do a sound check? That bass overload was not good. I’m wasn’t expecting vocals like Adele or anything, but she can sing and it should have sounded better. Bummer

I'd love to go, but if the show starts an hour and 40 minutes after DH's bedtime, this just isn't going to work. He gets up at 5, we can't be getting home at 3 or 4 a.m.! I'm a night owl but I haven't seen 2 a.m. in 10 years!

Anonymous wrote:The start of that show last not was totally unacceptable and disrespectful to her fans. Let's be honest, she is not that relevant anymore. I don't care about costume changes, themes whatever...she'd better make that her last show because I know a lot of people, myself included that would not even go to one of her shows again...not even for free! So glad I only spent $120 on that ticket!

LOL. “She better?” I’m sure Madonna cares ever so deeply about your opinion.

After attending Eras where the sound quality was impeccable (at least in Philly) with no feedback or scratchy speaker sounds whatsoever, I have to agree that Madonna’s sound quality last night was kind of meh. At times it sounded like she was shouting into the mic and other times the base was so loud that it overpowered her voice. Was kind of surprised that someone of her caliber doesn’t have a more a sophisticated sound system, but again, I now compare everything to Eras and TS has basically ruined all concerts for me moving forward bc nothing can top that.

Does she not get that transportation has a curfew in this city? This screws everyone who didn't Uber.

Not only is she late but she purposely keeps the arena at around 68/70 degrees for her voice. Another thing she’s notorious for. Warm arenas. So dress lightly. At this point she should just set a 10:39 start time but I guess if she did, tickets wouldn’t sell.
