I want to do holiday cards but haven't yet

Pick absolutely any photo you want since spouse won’t help. Choose a “Happy New Year” card. Use Postable or similar service that will address and mail the cards out for you. Ignore the grinches on this board telling you not to bother if you’re not hand-calligraphing a personalized poem to the recipient; they clearly don’t participate in the tradition the way most young people do, and don’t understand.

Yes Op - same here. Have not done them despite best of intentions and our mantle is now full of cards so am feeling guilty … I was thinking to make an electronic one and send Christmas Eve or Day. Not doing a letter but just a nice message .

It is not as nice as real cards but will at least let family and friends know we are thinking about them and care about them.

Sorry you have been sick and overworked . Try and get some rest over the holiday and not out too much stress on yourself.

We have 3 kids, so we have a 120 person mailing list — which is not a 2 hour job.

Not to mention, picking the photo or taking the photo was terrible — our kids aren’t photogenic and at least one had a complaint about almost every photo we chose

So in 365 days your kids did not take one good picture?

We are mailing regular greeting cards with a letter after xmas because we are busy until then.

Not pp but I was shocked that we had no picture where we all looked great. Someone's eyes were closed or someone looked grumpy or there were people in the background or weird shadows.

I can see this turning into a new years resolution to sort pictures every Month and get rid of all the squinty ones or at least start the really good ones.

Those sound like 3rd tier cards though. They might go straight to trash.
