Wharton - what’s the typical profile of a dmv kid who gets in?

Penn gives preference for Legacy status only during the ED round.

Oh, I know which kids you're talking about. Lol. I mentioned the girl upthread. This is how rare it is around here--we're all talking about the same tiny handful.

Pp who is w’06

The girls in my class that seemed to thrive were Indian, East Asian, Jewish or international

It felt really rare to run into a regular white girl at Wharton compared to the college or nursing

“Regular white girl”? WTF?

Asking if these admitted kids are Jews?? Your antisemitism is showing.

Blair magnet?

Unlikely, Blair magnet kids aren't typically interested in Wharton

It actually was Blair— sorry if that doesn’t fit your profile of who goes to Wharton. Oh, also Hispanic.

Which year was this? I haven't heard of any admit in recent years but might be mistaken as DS not very interested in the school

Unfortunately it doesn’t say Wharton or not

Unclench

It’s ok to ask if kids are black, Asian, Hispanic but not Jewish?

There are ethnographic differences between white gentiles and Jewish Americans hence it’s valuable to understand how that interacts with class composition

True - and it only lists where kids are going, not where they were accepted. They have a great track record with ivy admits so it is one if the few schools where having 5+ get accepted to a specific ivy in a given year would not surprise me.

Surprised since 2019 no one went to MIT.
