Ironically, we had just decided not to refer our kid when we received the in pool notification today.
|
The email says we can submit our work samples by Jan5th. |
Our school does Thursday folders and still no scores today. Annoying. |
So does that mean just in-pool kids have an extension? |
I believe you only technically need one or the other, so your kid would just have to rely on the CoGat. You can ask for one retake of each, so you might be able to ask for the NNAT, although I'm not sure it's worth it since it's the least privileged data point (supposedly) |
Crossfield, got CogAT result in the kid's backpack. I went through the red folder but found nothing, kind of bummed, But then found the result lying in the bottom of his backpack.
Also got in pool notice. |
Did anyone at Shrevewood get scores? |
I asked for NNAT in 2nd grade and our AART said it wasn't necessary because only ONE screener is required. Thankfully, CoGat was high enough to be in-pool and then DC was accepted. |
What was his score? |
Score? Mine is above avg didn’t get in. |
What were your scores? |
He is 99% in both, so in pool is no surprise. |
For those in pool, are you still submitting a parent referral? |
Yes, provide some family perspective, just in case the teacher comment wasn't great. |
Are the NNAT and Cogat averaged to determine in-pool? We got our Cogat score, 132, but apparently not in pool. |
