In pool notifications

Every single year they warn people that you might not get an in-pool notification before referrals are due.

Most years the notifications do seem to come before the deadline, but FCPS always holds open the possibility that they don't.

Even if your kid is in-pool, our AART always says parent referring is helpful to the review committee. I know most people just want the warm fuzzies of the in-pool notification, but if you're already parent referring anyway (which you should be if you care enough to ask) it doesn't change anything you are doing right now to know.

SIS is down for updates for almost a week starting Friday at 5 pm so if the scores aren't not uploaded by then, it'll be a while.

Orange Hunt. Last full week of October, two weeks later than scheduled.

Any new pool notifications? Trying to use this is a benchmark for how schools are processing CogAT info / thinking about AAP staff given as we still have not received scores (I have the parent referral prepped and will send it regardless)

Pretty sure in-pool notifications are sent county-wide. Certainly eligibility decisions come from the AAP office and not your school.

I just got an email saying my kiddo is being "referred to be screened for full-time AAP based on data from district universal screening" Check your emails!

I just received in pool notification via email today @3PM. No idea about CogAT result.

Same received at 3pm, have not received score.

To those whose kid was not in pool - our older was not in pool (still scored decently well) but was selected for AAP as a result of the GBRS.

We are not sure if our younger one will get in - he is more quiet than our older one and we didn't get the gushing feedback we did from our older one's teacher
