Who under 60 not on jersey shore wears a v neck?

Sorry. Didn’t read all the comments. I see the make up comments now so female duh. But sounds like based on what you had on and did you say middle part (lord no) that sounds like old people clothes and hairstyles.

NOBODY LOOKS GOOD WITH A MIDDLE PART. WSJ randomly declared side parts were out and that was driven by pure evil. Side parts were in for 30 years because EVERYONE LOOKS GOOD WITH SIDE PARTS.

There I saved you 10 years.

it was not the Wall Street journal it was gen Z who decided that. I actually think middle parts look way better than I expected but I refuse to switch. I think we have a perception that what is in style is somehow flattering but in reality there is nothing objective about it. Like I thought that outtinf a much lighter shade of eyeshadow or some concealer on the middle part of your eyelids made them look larger but I then when makeup trends changed I heard someone say a lighter color on the middle of the eyelid actually makes them look bulgy and like they are protruding. Now I can’t stop seeing it.

Rock it, OP. Invest your discounts and when you actually are a senior, they'll be worth $$$$!

Most people don't lie about their age to save a few bucks.

I’m going to get a fake ID and save a few bucks. 10% on my groceries? Yes, please!

I said MOST.

Isn’t it funny that we live in such fear of being older that we not only pay a ton of money and in this case lose out on money just to look younger? Our world is messed up.

That’s ageism.

The employees asking if you qualified for the discount weren't making a judgment on what age you look, they were simply doing their job without making much effort. It's discount day so they just ask everyone, they probably barely even looked at you. They're going a boring, repetitive job all day long, it's just a step in the process to ask.

I had something ask if I was my friend's mother. I think she was 35 at the time and I was maybe 50? yeah that wasn't fun.

Harris Teeter, on Thursday.

I accepted my senior discount from the high school age cashier when I was 45, ha.

Anyone over 40 look ancient to people in their 20s and under.

Me too! I wouldn't lie about it, but I'd fudge:

"Are you a senior?"
"Oh, do I get a discount?"

Pretty sure they'd take that as a yes.

Adjacent: I found a long white hair on the underside of my chin earlier this week. Regardless of my actual age, that makes me a senior, right?

+1 where is this salon? I'm 53 and have never been asked this.

63 y.o. female here and never been offered a senior discount. Is it that common?

That's so weird.

Not to sound mean but sometimes longer/really long hair on older women actually makes them look even older. Maybe consider shoulder length or shorter haircut for a younger look. I'd ask your hair stylist for their honest opinion.

Look, people are jerks, you ran into two of them. It’s rude to ask a woman her age. That’s what these clerks did. Even if you look like you’re 70, they shouldn’t ask you about the senior discount. It’s up to you to bring it up if you want to. Don’t take it personally!

Was it at Unique Thrift in Wheaton? They ask literally everyone. They asked me once when I was 8 months pregnant.
