Come at me.

I’m a guy, btw.

My DH agrees. He thinks Jen G is gorgeous and charming.

I think my husband likes both, but I think Jen G seems more attainable or something? We used to watch Alias together. I was jealous she could wear just about any costume and pull it off. But honestly, she just seems like a normal and fun person. Her social media videos crack me up. I get a feeling she doesn’t take herself all that seriously.

I am glad she is actually working again (as an actor, not just doing credit card commercials) because it was starting to feel like she was mostly famous for being Ben Affleck's ex-wife and I have no interest in that kind of celebrity.

She has a commercial on now where it starts with her saying "You probably know me from my other career, but I'm also a business owner," and it grates because at this point DO people know her from acting? She did Alias and then a fairly popular romcom 20 years ago but she has barely worked in the last 10 years.

I don't know why this annoys me but I just feel like if you're going to be in the public eye, it needs to be FOR something. Not just "I make goofy Instagram reels and I'm a mom!" Like who cares, so are all my neighbors, I don't want to see them on GMA either.

I am feeling grumpy today, lol.

You have issues, crazy lady. Oh no, she took time to raise her children!! So did I, and guess what, 10 years later, still a board-certified physician! Once an actor, always an actor.

Like you - once a b_, always a b_.

I didn’t say Audrey Hepburn was the universal ideal of beauty. I meant that she was universally liked. I have never met anyone who didn’t think she was charming, cute, “adorable” as you say.

But I for one think Jennifer Garner is unattractive and not remotely charming. I find her hokey, homey, masculine and annoying. I can see that my assessment is not unique.

There are stars that almost everyone likes, Jennifer Garner is not one of them.

Sweetheart, name me one actor/actress right now that is universally liked and I'll Venmo you $10,000.

A lot of people surprisingly doesnt like her for what she did to Scott Foley. it is what it is.
According to blinds circulating at the time, he resented her success and was a jerk to her. He never struck me as the nicest guy. It's possible none of us have the whole story.
Couldn't stand him in Felicity. Played the sensitive guy personna.

Well, at least she *did* something once upon a time. Unlike celebrity wives and nepo babies.

Whether about her or just in a more general sense, this is a trait plenty of people find very attractive. I know plenty of people who would take sense of humor and fun over “looking sophisticated” any day because he’d connect the latter to high maintainence/less fun/vain/etc.

She looks great, but needs a stylist or a new stylist.
Terrible clothing choices.

I’m going to go on a limb and guess both of your husbands are middle class, White bread types of a mix of Scottish, German, Irish, English extraction, no? That’s most American men. I had a gorgeous friend, she was a Swedish Blonde, but all of my guy friends preferred my very ordinary, but cute all American mutt friend. She made them feel better about themselves. I’m not a J-Lo fan by any means, I prefer Jennifer Garner to her, too, but I think it’s because I’m also White and Middle American.

As for Garner, I don’t get that normal, fun vibe. I see her as the sort of two faced “bless your heart” type who smiles in your face and talks about you behind your back. She’s Hollywood pretending to be just like you and me. That being said, I do respect how she handled her divorce.

Folks, this has been a recurring argument since the aughts.

I've been a fan since then and am still a fan. 13 Going on 30 more than holds up and I'm looking forward to the new Netflix movie.

The way he talks is my favorite part! I love that old school, Ivy League Waspy Middle Atlantic accent. I wish people still talked like that!

Jennifer Garner is one of the most boring actresses I can think of. In fact, I cannot even think of anyone more boring. Her acting is unremarkable, and so is her acting career. Her acting skills seem so flat and one-dimensional to me.

If it wasn’t for her train wreck of a marriage to Ben Affleck, no one would even be talking about her. Ever.

She is the definition of Snooooozzzzeeee.
