Yes, both of my ADHD kids have executive functioning problems.

She refuses to turn in her assignments. This was a problem last semester and she made an effort to correct the issue, but she’s fallen back into her old bad habits.

Before TG break we checked the portal and nothing was missing; we would have had her work on it over break. Today I look and she’s missing nearly every assignment and is currently failing the class.

I don’t know what to do that will WORK! Please help! What worked for you? What do you think will work for me?

She WON’T turn them in? So, they’re done but she won’t turn them in? Or she won’t DO THEM? That’s two different things.

If she won’t do them, then try to find out why. Doesn’t understand - teach her, go to tutor time, etc.

Just won’t do the work? Offer a structure to help her be successful. What is she doing instead of her work? Find out.

If that still doesn’t change anything then the answer is consequences - both natural and punishment until she follows expectations. No phone, no devices, grounded, etc.
