Nikki Haley - What are the chances

Nikki Haley seems like a good middle of the road choice and she has a background in government.
Any thoughts? MAGA crazies need not reply.

What, pray tell, is "middle of the road"about Nikki Haley? She is as MAGA as the rest of the basket of deplorables!

She has also aligned herself with Moms for Liberty, which has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. I have dealt with these people in my work and they are off-kilter, another strain of QAnon weirdos. So that makes me not like her. She is too extreme for this centrist.

Scary that she seems the sanest and most central of the potential Republican presidential nominees.

NP. Considering the extreme left slant of SPLC, I have to laugh at your cluelessness. Good grief.

You can try to discredit the SPLC all you want. It doesn't negate how extreme Haley is in her views as compared to the average American voter.

No one has to "try" to discredit the SPLC - they've done that all by themselves, as evidenced by a quick Google search. And Haley may be "extreme" to you, but that's only because you're extremely liberal. The average American is somewhere in the middle. She would be a great choice to run against Biden.

I think posters here are lost in some obscure nuances.

Nikki Haley would absolutely destroy Biden if it comes to that. Smart, healthy, sane, young, fit, quick-witted, funny, a little brown, a woman.

Compared to a geriatric white man from Scranton, PA who has trouble walking and speaking and who will be 84.

The only question is the insanity of republicans. If they continue with their Trump obsession, they will lose to a toaster oven. Nikki Haley seems to be rising presently. She's clearly the alternative

But I sense that Republicans aren't into winning and governing. They simply want to make a point. And Nikki Haley is not the point

“ Moms for Liberty is a far-right organization that engages in anti-student inclusion activities and self-identifies as part of the modern parental rights movement. The group grew out of opposition to public health regulations for COVID-19, opposes LGBTQ+ and racially inclusive school curriculum, and has advocated books bans.”

What’s the lie there, you clueless weirdo?

And to the pp claiming to be liberal and liking Nikki Haley as “middle of the road”: seriously you get that no one believes your lie, right? She’s a RWNJ, same as the rest of the GOP.

I’m in the middle and the one who brought up Moms for Liberty. Forget SPLC then. I have dealt with these folks in my job, as I mentioned, and they are extremist a-holes. I also know that lots of people agree with them, or are somewhat sympathetic to these kinds of groups, but I don’t and am not and it makes me wary of her. She is not a centrist.

What are her chances? Her chances are solely based on Trump going to prison. If that does happen she seems best suited to fill the void. Otherwise...zero.

If Trump goes to prison he wins in a landslide. That is his dream to be a permanent icon for decades and maybe centuries

If she’s going to go along with the 2025 project, it doesn’t matter. And Heritage Foundation says it’s for all Republican candidates. She would have to come out and explicitly state she will under no circumstances use those referrals and policy advisements.

What is this 2025 project that you’re carrying on about? The most I’ve heard about it is that it’s Republican donors’ plan for overturning trans gains and such. If so, then you need to get a clue. Our very democracy is at stake. If voting in Nikki Haley means Trump stays far away from the presidency, then that’s what we’re going to do even if it means RuPaul can’t use the women’s bathroom.

Nikki has zero chance. Move on.

She pledges to sign a national abortion ban.

75% of Americans support abortion.

No, she is not middle of the road.
