Never made stuffing but a guest wants it. Which one?

Stove Top is not fine for everyone. I’m no foodie and I’m not looking for gourmet fare, but I’d be really disappointed if I was served Stove Top on Thanksgiving. Stove Top on a random day? Okay, fine. On Thanksgiving? No. That would be the equivalent of serving Oscar Meyer deli turkey slices on Thanksgiving.

Stovetop is fine. But then again, we don’t do traditional menu. Pilgrims were not our ancestors.

You know that the person who requested dressing at the table apparently wants this style, according to OP's clarification, right?

Context.

I’ve never been a guest at someone’s home and demanded a specific dish.

If this was an elderly relative, too old to cook and host anymore, I'd make the simple side dish without complaints. It's really not a big deal to make someone their comfort food.

The Pilgrims didn’t even have the traditional menu.

Agree. OP at least go with Pepperidge Farm, add buttter celery and onion.

Well-done, this dish is amazing, but everyone seems to have a different opinion about what ingredients to use and whether it has to go into the bird or not.

Stove top is the least likely to offend if you have a single stuffing lover and you don’t know their specific preferences. It also only requires one casserole rather than multiple pans and about 15-20 min, which is reasonable for a dish for one guest.

For anyone other than OP and their one guest (Stovetop is fine), this is a great recipe.

Oh, also make waffles from the leftovers. Yes, waffles. Just stick the stuffing in the maker and cook.

I'm making stuffing just to do this.

One year everyone ate all the stuffing, and I made another batch the next day just for the waffles
