Pollos Hermanos? |
| Stove Top is not fine for everyone. I’m no foodie and I’m not looking for gourmet fare, but I’d be really disappointed if I was served Stove Top on Thanksgiving. Stove Top on a random day? Okay, fine. On Thanksgiving? No. That would be the equivalent of serving Oscar Meyer deli turkey slices on Thanksgiving. |
| Stovetop is fine. But then again, we don’t do traditional menu. Pilgrims were not our ancestors. |
You know that the person who requested dressing at the table apparently wants this style, according to OP's clarification, right? Context. |
| I’ve never been a guest at someone’s home and demanded a specific dish. |
If this was an elderly relative, too old to cook and host anymore, I'd make the simple side dish without complaints. It's really not a big deal to make someone their comfort food. |
The Pilgrims didn’t even have the traditional menu. |
Agree. OP at least go with Pepperidge Farm, add buttter celery and onion. |

Well-done, this dish is amazing, but everyone seems to have a different opinion about what ingredients to use and whether it has to go into the bird or not.
Stove top is the least likely to offend if you have a single stuffing lover and you don’t know their specific preferences. It also only requires one casserole rather than multiple pans and about 15-20 min, which is reasonable for a dish for one guest. |
One year everyone ate all the stuffing, and I made another batch the next day just for the waffles
