I received the new passport the first week of October. |

PP here. 10/27: Approved 11/1: Est. Date of Receipt So just about 7 weeks for routine (not expedited) processing. Straightforward renewal with my prior passport having just expired in March. |

They received the passport renewal application via USPS Sept 7. I received the passport in the mail Sept 21. Selected expedited processing and paid for expedited shipping.
Note: I did call the passport center a few times indicating I was traveling the week of Sept 24. They apparently flagged as urgent. I also contacted my senator’s office, but I don’t think his office did anything. |

OP again. These are all renewals (2 batches entailing 5 different family members).
Applied early September. Did not expedite anything. 7 weeks. Applied early October. Expedited everything due to fear of a shutdown. 4 weeks. |
