Recent (2023) passport renewal experience---how long did it take you??

Hello!
If you renewed in 2023, how long did it take you and roughly when did you submit? Regular or expedited? (or if still waiting, when did you submit?) Thank you!! |

| Submitted January 5, got it March 23. 11 weeks. Expedited shipping only. It was stressful. The online status was not helpful. It was never up to date. It always said in process, even when I receive it. It updated to completed a week after I got it. |

| I submitted applications for myself and my 16 yo DD in March. Non-expedited, and they arrived in just under 8 weeks. I agree with PP that the online system wasn’t all that helpful. Ours both still said in process until after we’d already received them. |

| Kid passport, 5 weeks from submitting at PO to passport in hand. Expedited everything except mailing to facility. |

Yes but some staff will have to stay home. Things won't stop but they will slow down. |

| Submitted mid July and paid for expedited processing, was advised about three months wait, received new passport less than a month after I submitted. |
