That's just not true at all. Soft serve is simply ice cream that is served after churning but before blast freezing, it can be powdered or it can be Jeni's quality. Take a trip to Vermont and try a creemee from a dairy farm, it'll be made with fresh milk and cream from cows 20 feet away, and maple syrup tapped from the trees you're looking at.

That sounds amazing.

That's also not what most soft serve is.

Still mostly junk. While you may stubble upon a truly “craft” creeeme, most, even at dairy farms, are not all natural and wholesome as you would think. You would really have to research and dig to find a place that is.
