Best chocolate in a box of chocolates?

Chocolate with almonds. In my tummy. Quickly.

Best is toffee, worst is the fruit nougat but I'll still eat it. After giving birth I demolished a whole box of these and it's a cherished memory!

The worst box of chocolates is anything you can buy in a grocery store or a pharmacy (e.g., CVS). Worst individual chocolates: nougat, gels, caramel, plain vanilla, mint. Best chocolates: any dark chocolate with nuts, toffee, fruit flavored, liqueur flavored, exotic without being too ‘out there’. I don’t get the coconut hate.

Worst - Coconut and any ones with the fruit cremes

Best: Toffee coated with dark chocolate. Worst: Anything with white chocolate.

I love the caramels at Velatis. Get a mix of sugary or chewy, vanilla and chocolate, nuts and no nuts…. Try their truffles. Best of all though, is their chocolate covered toffee.

Best is dark chocolate with marzipan, or dark chocolate with toffee.

Nostalgic flavors from being a kid are raspberries cream and vanilla cream.

Anything white chocolate is not worth my time. Most things with nuts aren't good.

The only good ones are dark chocolate with nuts. Everything else is too sweet.

If it is the box of chocolates is from Walgreens, hard no to any of them. So gross. Childhood valentine nightmares.

Praline in Bethesda has excellent homemade chocolates.

yes to fruit creams. Raspberry, orange, lemon, key lime, strawberry.

No to hazelnut creme, coconut, mocha, and any other vomitous questionable nut filling

We can share a box - I abhor fruit in chocolate, but will happily take your mochas, hazlenuts, etc.
