When you get a box of chocolates, what's the best flavor? What is the worst flavor?

I like fruity flavors, which I don’t often find in the US.

Those toffee bars on the bottom row are the best, followed by the crunchy one above, and agree that whichever one has the light pink filling is the worst.

yes to fruit creams. Raspberry, orange, lemon, key lime, strawberry.

No to hazelnut creme, coconut, mocha, and any other vomitous questionable nut filling

All you people who hate the fruit fillings (syrup- or creme-based), send them to me. I will absolutely murder the delicious, delicious raspberry cordials. My favorite candy in the world is the one with the strawberry-print wrapper and the gooey strawberry syrup inside, the one that our grandmothers always set out in a crystal dish on special occasions.

Anything with coconut or white chocolate is an abomination.

The turtles are the best.

Worst is the fruit gel ones when you’re not expecting them.

I deeply apologize for my snobbery, but as a French chocolate lover, I go to my favorite chocolatier (Debauve et Gallais) in Paris and they make me a box of my favorites, which are all dark chocolate and various types of infused ganache and pralines. My ultra favorites are the dark chocolate coated citrus fruits and ginger fingers. They're famous for making "medicinal" chocolate coins for Marie-Antoinette.

I think they also have a store in Westchester, but I've never been to that one.

Otherwise I buy bittersweet baking chocolate from Callebaut on Amazon and make things with it.
