I love Kim and Penn. They are so relatable. I agree with your "monetize life" statement. I wish I had thought of a way to make $ from a Target run or complaining that my kids don't clean up! |
The express pass challenge was eating the insects! So gross! |
| So loving this season! |
Yes! I feel like the contestants this season are really likable. I haven’t taken agin anyone yet. |

Great finale! I was rooting for Rob and Corey but would have been happy with any of the three teams winning. John and Greg did great, are really nice guys, so smart, totally deserved it although Joel and Garrett were so close behind them! That would have been a great upset.
Looking forward to the next season starting this March instead of like a year from now. Should be interesting to see if they stick with the hour and a half episodes. |

Good season! If anyone wants to donate toward a service dog for Garrett’s daughter: https://www.givesendgo.com/SmithFamilyServiceDog

I read somewhere that they are continuing with 90-minute episodes because they still need to fill content hours because of the strike fallout. I can’t believe the next group was filmed before this one though (they are having to re-edit the entire season because they had 60-minute episodes ready to go). That’s a long time to keep mum! |
Can we start a new thread with the correct season? I’m glad this is posted but it’s the wrong season |
This is the first time in a long time that I would have been happy with any of ghe final 3 teams winning. We were also rooting for Rob and Corey, but the brothers who won were unusually well-rounded (they kayak, studied musical composition, speak French, very athletic). They were smart and earned it. The casting is EVERYTHING! I don't want to spend my tv time eatching people bucker and fight. All of the final 3 teams were really positive and handled stress well. I liked Anna Leigh and her dad for the first half of the season (when things were going well -- it's easier to get along). But I wanted to strangle Anna Leigh every show when she was telling her dad to hurry up and he's about to have heart attack. I cannot stand it when people are ignoring the real limitations of their partners. The dad was doing all that he could and she just keeps nagging him to go faster. (Same with Myrna and Charla--previous seasons). It offends me. I did feel a little bad fir the mustachioed guy who wanted the money for his daughter with Down Syndrome. Overall, great casting and a really enjoyable show. |

| I just finished watching this morning and was happy for the brothers win! Honestly, I was rooting for all three of them because they were all solid and likable teams. Though I was sad that Rob and Corey seem to have fallen so far behind, I was rooting for them. But I was also rooting for the friends, because I really wanted to him to win for his special-needs daughter, and I was also rooting for the brothers because they were so likable, kind and capable. All around a great final three. |

Loved the final three teams. Definitely agree about Anna Leigh and her father -- it got really old hearing her yell at him to hurry up while he was gasping for breath.

I totally agree. It made me wonder why she applied with her dad, if she was so invested in winning why not find a younger and more fit teammate? Maybe nobody would do it with her except her dad? He came through as a really good guy but she has tarnished whatever reputation she used to have. |

There’s always one team I really dislike in the finale but I would have been happy with any of them winning. The father son team worked so well together. There was never a moment where he struggled because of his disability and they both knew how to support and uplift each other. Loved that.
I had to laugh imagining Anna leigh yelling at her dad on his 20th attempt on the trapeze. |
