Kim and Penn Holderness were super annoying.

Next week is going to be a huge TV week for me:
- Amazing Race, Survivor on 9/27,
- Golden Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise 9/28

SAME! Plus I'll be watching (or recording) Special Forces 2. (Nick Viall, JoJo Siwa and Tyler Cameron will be on it. Plus, the cheater from Vanderpump -- I don't watch it, but I've picked up a bit about the scandal). I saw Spec. Forces before when Hanna Brown was on it, and she totally surprised me.

I have literally watched seasons #7-32 of the Amazing Race in the last 6 months! I really hated the earlier seasons when they would say it's a non-elimination round, but they would take all of the team's money and possessions. It forced people to beg, and I don't think that's right. It also was a lot harder for black teams to get money through begging. I think it's a lot better now when they make them do a speed bump. Casting is so crucial. Some seasons I have like 4-5 teams that I want to win. Other seasons, I can't stand any of the teams and I'm hoping the couples who are mean break up or get divorced. I have to stop myself from looking it up b/c it inevitably gives me the winner of that season when I only wanted to know that the woman got out of a horrible guy's grips.

Love Amazing Race!

I'm also intrigued by the Golden Bachelor. I think it'll be like going back to the original bachelor days when people actually were looking for love/commitment, and not instagram followers. I think America's heart will break when an older lady gets her heart broken, and America will cheer for Gerry and his pick to show that there's always time to find someone to love!

I liked them a lot on Amaz. Race having never seen them before. I've since seen them on their videos and I can't stand the cheesiness. Blech! But, on TAR, I thought they were really good.

I thought they were great, rooted for them and was very happy when they won, they deserved it! Their family videos are kind of goofy but you have to give them credit for finding a way to monetize life.

Yes, at least half of the teams seem to be Internet personalities the last few years.

Mirna yelling “Charlaaaa” is still etched in my brain.

No internet personalities on any of the new season's 13 teams.

The daughter on the father/daughter team is an influencer. But thankfully that’s the only one.

Mirna was so annoying...and she's from tjis area too! I couldn't stand how she was so impatient and condescending to Charla.

OP here - We have the same TV watching habits I can't wait for Special Forces either! Oh and also Traitor! I predict Golden Bachelor will be their highest rated season!

As I mentioned we're binging all the seasons of amazing race again, funny how much of it seems new to us - we forgot a lot of what happened over the last 34 seasons. We're actually watching them in reverse order, it's funny to see Phil basically Benjamin Buttoned his way to season 1. I don't really like how often they've "re-used" some of the teams. For example the annoying as hell TWINNIES (Sri Lankan sisters) god they are annoying, did we need to see them on two seasons? And Rachel from Big Brother, she's a spoiled brat truly. Was so happy to see her come in second in her latest season. I loved the father/son team from Utah who had both battled cancer. Also interesting what the teams from the older seasons got away with saying, things that today would get them cancelled. I was sad to see that the dentist from Florida had passed away not long after he and his wife competed, he was a douche on his season but when I googled him it turns out he was a really good guy in terms of his volunteer work.

Phil Keoghan is one of my favorite TV personalities. He strikes me as genuinely nice. I really hope we never have to find out he's a closet Nazi or has children buried under his floorboards or something else terrible.

I love TAR. And I happened to stumble across the final leg of this season on vacation, by total accident. Was really cool to watch all the logistics from the sidelines.

DH and I love the way he says "spa". 7 days, 6 nights at the luxurious Punta Mita Resort and "spehhhhhh" we get such a kick out of it
