UVA no longer deferring early apps

Right. Dean J clearly says that the most competitive applicants are in EA.


Of course the most competitive applicants are in EA. Top students don’t want to have to settle for UVA when there are better choices. Why would they apply ED?

An instate applicant will apply ED bc they know what the cost will be. Maybe they don’t qualify for aid and love UVA.
