There is a trend of American women going to France to look for partners but usually American woman - euro man doesn’t work because American women who are “international-coded” are usually women who have certain attributes and backgrounds that the typical euro man struggles to match up to (namely economic/salary requirements) But yeah for sex tourism/hookups - Italy and Spain and France are to women what Colombia and Thailand are for men |

Men look for foreign women, because American women don’t have to be pretty to be happy and successful in life. That makes men crazy. Women no longer live for men’s approval - they can live a great life on their own terms. |

Some observations:
First, for both genders, the foreign-born people you meet in cosmopolitan and urban social circles are HIGHLY accomplished. It is HARD to come to the US. They either have money or highly advanced skills in something. That’s for people who came here as adults. For those who came as children, or of immigrant families, they have likely faced more adversities than Americans of similar social standing. This doesn’t just make for an interesting life story, it makes for a resilience and strength that typical Americans, especially white Americans, don’t have. Another stereotype that is true, foreigners come to America to major in STEM (engineering or medicine) or business. They are not pursuing humanities degrees, taking out student loans, and having existential crises about it. Attributes of foreign women have already been discussed. More secure in their femininity seems to encompass it. They also aren’t constantly trying on identities and be something else. And perhaps the hardest to hear for American women is that foreign women eat less. Yes, some American women can be more into fitness and in better shape, but this doesn’t always appeal to men(sometimes it does). As said above, the slender European woman is attractive because that look is rare here. And you don’t get there by living in a gym - a lot of it is genetics (Scandinavian and Eastern European women have longer legs and leaner figures than Brits or Anglo-Americans) you get it by eating less. They don’t eat heavy meals constantly. They do eat sweets on occasion but not every day. They will eat one substantive meal a day and the rest is tea/coffee and a salad. Generally, foreign women are less likely to be offended or outraged by political incorrectness or bluntness. They are also less obsessed with politics. They usually think Trump is dumb but don’t really talk about it. |

Many of those women (trying to get out of bad life circumstances) are extremely pragmatic and transactional, they have to be. These men are not getting the pretty and domestic wife they envision, not for long anyways. |

I'm just waiting for the person who asks if it's low class or high class to marry a European - then this'll devolve into what KIND of European, because it's different if the person is French v if they come fro Bratislava, of course. |
