Can I wear this dress to a black tie optional wedding?

I don’t care about the cutouts, I just think it’s too daytime.

OP, I expect nobody is going to care all that much, or remember what you wore years later. The attention is supposed to be on the bride.

My goal at this level of event is usually to fly under the radar, so I dress not to stand out. However, there are a lot of ways to dress for a wedding, and your style may be very different.

Both this dress and the one in the OP are too edgy for a wedding. Does this really need to be explained to people? Just because bare mid drifts are trending, does not make them appropriate for a wedding. The attention should be on the couple getting married. Always. But the hottie in the red dress.

Those comments always come from unattractive, insecure people. When I got married 16 years ago, I wanted people to look their best and enjoy themselves. A wedding is not a popularity contest, is a celebration.

Yes, this is much better and way cuter. Looks more dressy than the other one, too.

Are you kidding? It looks like a mumu

I also got this farm rio on sale for like $80 and probably not willing to spend quite that much!

LOL to people saying I’m looking to get laid, I’m a mom of three under 7 who will be attending with my husband hahahaha, I am not looking to bed any groomsmen

Why not? If you’re hot, you can bang a groomsman - esp if they are hot too!

OP, where did you get it for $80? I want it for my vacation to Italy!

They did a big 60% off sale a couple weeks ago I didn’t realize how much of a score I got!!

Not sure what bare mid drifs have to do with looking your best. The look isn’t appropriate for a black tie optional wedding. It is too casual.

This would be nice for a beach wedding.

It’s completely inappropriate for a black tie optional wedding.
