Your list is much better that the list the OP linkked to.

I have visited almost all the schools in the list (including UChicago and Navy Academy) , I agree with your campus ranking.

I would say NYU #1

Too funny! NYU = the best college campus that is not a campus.

It is a good list (outside of Columbia), but a case could be made for some of these: Colorado, WUSL, Notre Dame, Indiana, Richmond, Sewanee, and probably a few others.

U Miami is pretty nice if you like palm trees and white buildings.

USC was much prettier IMO.

Hmm interesting. A lot of this is subjective and what gives you the “feels.” I live in So Cal and visited UCLA/USC with my daughter. Both are pretty campuses, but I found UCLA to be more grand and majestic. Truly beautiful IMO. USC felt smaller, more contained. My daughter preferred USC though!!
Do you have any thoughts on Pepperdine? I was always under the impression it was tops.

In my opinion, such a list should be done per geographic region of the country.

Excellent point

I would add Vassar and Salve Regina. Gorgeous campuses.

Anonymous wrote:Just toured Virginia Tech--it was way better than we expected. Wouldn't rank it in top 10 prettiest, but it was pretty good. Maybe the "best" rank includes on-campus offerings. VTech has tons of on-campus food and amenities to accommodate 40,000 in the middle of Blacksburg.

Why was it way better than you expected? Tech is known to have a beautiful campus.

+1
It's lovely - gothic architecture and pristine landscaping surrounded by mountains.

Exactly. Which is why UCLA should not be on the list, let alone at the top. It’s a total fail, and Berkeley is skank. Great schools, but unappealing settings. Princeton is gorgeous.

The source is Niche; it’s not a “troll post”

Any list that puts those three in the top 10 for most beautiful campuses is a troll

Or, you are a troll, ready to move to a better country -- Haiti?

Enjoy!

The view from Pepperdine is nice. Campus itself is OK but not great.
