Doubtful. I assume the ILs pay for it all and OP’s family is only buying their own food.

I got rid of many of my mom's things but told her that it was in storage. It is out of sight, out of mind for her.

I just wouldn’t go anymore and if they ask, gently let them know it’s uncomfortable.
But I’m not clear in the financial set up either.
