Anonymous wrote:Question for parents of Stars high school teams. Are most of the girls looking to play in college? How involved are the directors once the girls are in high school? I heard that Kathy Jenkins’s and Kristin Carr are part of the recruiting team. What does that mean exactly? What kind of assistance do they give? Thanks

Some are and some aren’t.

….So in other words most are not. And not a lot of support. Noted.

Lol. Not everyone wants to play college lax. If you aren’t going to an acc/big team why bother. You aren’t winning nothing.

I thought Stars was owned by St James and CLC is a totally separate entity.

It’s all the same network though - St. James, Stars, Capital, SSSA, KJ, KC, Capital coaches. They all talk and look out for each other. For example, KJ was the 27 Stars coach last year, coaches SSSA and was at the recent Capital tryouts. That’s not a coincidence.

No help at all. In addition Practices were held but no skill development. Left to go to another club.

Double negative? I expected more from the DC area lax board.
