Stars actually has to do it on the field. All the boosterism on these threads isn't going to get it done. It's good marketing, for sure, and maybe a new parent dropping in could get influenced. A more fulsome look at track records of the respective clubs high school age teams' performance, historical ranking, recruiting, etc. would be a better approach for those considering which club to join. |
I bet the didn't say which Wednesday.... |
| For original poster, the offers for 29 are out |
| Looked like about 55, 27s and 30, 26s tonight. |
| How did the 28s look? Any new talent? |
| How do the different clubs deal with head injuries? Are there any that are particularly cautious or that have especially good medical protocols? A friend who played D1 had her talented daughter need to medically retire due to repeated injuries. |
I would offer that the parents and the player's doctors are the decision-makers on head injuries. In my experience with the Virginia clubs, all of them prioritize the health and well-being of the player. Even the NFL is learning. I believe it's handled appropriately at this level. |

| Based on what is being said on the Capitol tryouts board it seems the Stars program does a great job at developing the girls for HS. Not sure why Capital gets all the credit when the girls get recruited when they aren’t the ones that develop the players. |

Everyone has to remember, Capital has an official agreement with BLC and Stars. They develop them, and Capital gets them recruited Even though it doesn’t have an official agreement, Pride seems to be conceding and giving the best to Capital due to their recruiting connections Plus, KJ stays involved with recruiting for many of the Capital girls |
| Looks like Stars are having a supplemental tryout for the 26 and 25 teams. |
Yes that is true. Thursday |
Any idea how many players they are looking for on the 26 team? I know some got invites. |
Are they all fully formed upon entering 9th grade? Maybe Capital should get some credit too. |
