OP, you and your spouse should just do... whatever it is you are going to do, but quietly. It won't matter unless one of the kids finds out about the extracurricular activities and confronts you. THEN you can tell them that you're ENM.

My sister does this; she’s the most attention hungry person imaginable. She’s getting older and more pathetic, seeking out romances with other oldsters. Her adult kids are embarrassed and roll their eyes at her antics- they definitely put up boundaries once they could- they don’t want their kids around sexy, hook up grandma. I think they resent the fact they always dealt with half a family. She actually brought one of her hook ups to a family event and everyone was grossed out. Her husband is a shell of a man with serious health issues.

She got a pedicure once from a younger man at a nice nail salon who was really personable and fun- she was sure he wanted her. I think he was angling for a nice tip. She’s an exhausting person.

Do you think friends' parents will let their kids come near your kid? No way in hell that's going to happen. I am not trying to stop you. You don’t understand- people like this pretend their kids are just extensions of them. They don’t care how it makes their kids feel. Their kids are supposed to feel exactly as they do and not have their own feelings. They are supposed to accept any behavior and be ok with it. If they feel ick inside because mom and dad are banging anything that moves openly- so what? Kids feelings don’t matter! Only banging matters. Open banging is better. It’s all above board because it’s known! Meanwhile kids get pushed aside for bang partners and everyone has to smile and be so mature and accepting!
