DH outfit preferences

It’s a free country last time I checked… so yeah, it is okay to wear them anywhere. But since you’re the leggings police, why don’t you start going places and ticketing offenders since you care so much about the impact on society?

Saggy cheap leggings with lumpy thighs and vpl are not pleasant to look at.

Butt shape comes from clothing shape/size, or surgery, not exercise.

Uhhh, no. If butt shape couldn’t be altered there wouldn’t be thousands of stair master machines and Pilates studios.

And she was so loud and wrong about it 🤣

Do you have any preferences about his appearance, or are you cool with him wearing sweats every time you see him (unless he’s around other women and then he wears pants with a zipper)?

I’m saying this without judgment. If I’m at home, I’d prefer leggings or pantsless. Christ, no pants is the best. But, it turns out, DH almost only sees me when we’re at home, and I’m always looking like I just woke up or just thought about working out. If I had to go to an event with coworkers or out with friends, I wore real clothes. At some point I realized he was getting the short end of the stick and not feeling special. I made an effort and he appreciated it.

Your post is full of judgement and sanctimony. Not surprising got someone who started her post with the nonsense in bold.

I don't really care what she wears as long as it ends up on the bedroom floor.

I say this as a guy who loves his cargo shorts, so I too have known oppression.

"Prude" women? Nope. Women with class, who don't need the validation of being gawked at by strangers while at the grocery store or picking up the kids from school.

Half these posts are saying yoga pants are low effort and the other half are saying "omg you're being gawked at." Which is it.

I am in my early 30s and unmarried, but my ex-boyfriend loved seeing me in leggings and jeans equally, but he just thought I had a cute butt. Current boyfriend said just a few weeks ago that I look cute in my college sweatshirt and leggings. I don't get what's wrong with wearing them at home or in appropriate situations. I wouldn't wear Lululemon to work or a nice dinner out, but if I'm running errands around the city I'm not wearing a dress and shoes that could get beaten up, I'm wearing athleisure and sneakers.

She should start doing squats and get back to us.

OP, do you tend to wear leggings/yoga pants anyplace outside the house? Maybe your DH is trying to find a diplomatic way to tell you that it's not a look for outside the house or the gym. They're often skintight and maybe he feels that he prefers to keep your curves for himself and/or the look is too revealing.

Some leggings/yoga pants are tight in front as well as in back (do I need to elaborate here? I hope not) and I really wonder sometimes if women wearing them at the store, around town, etc. realize that.

Yes, please elaborate…..

Weird reason not to look good.

He loves you, and you have also stopped getting dressed in real clothes, probably starting during Covid. I have done the same, and I know DH likes it when I get dressed dressed to leave the house. I'm still in joggers or pajama pants or leggings 80% of the time, but it's not like I'm kidding myself that it's the world's best look on me or anyone else.

Unless you're obese, most women look good in tight leggings.

Yes, that's why there are dozens of women at the gym doing nothing but goblet squats every time I'm there.

My boyfriend loves when I wear sundresses.
