Who wore “young” better? Celebrity moms and daughters side-by-side.

At least Madonna is smiling. I’m not quite sure why Lourdes always gives such a frustrated look she walked right into being a supermodel after all.

Makes sense that the moms are prettier. In most cases the moms “made it” on their own merit, and their beauty was diluted by whoever they married (poor Rumer Willis). Rare exception being Ava Philippe who is way prettier than Reese the Chin.

I know moms IRL who are absolutely gorgeous but they married average- or below-average looking guys with $$. Ironically their sons inherited their looks while their daughters are average. Meanwhile DH and I both average-looking and somehow our mediocre features canceled each other out to produce two gorgeous children. People’s faces fall when they realize we are their parents because they were expecting way better!

Girls look more like their fathers in general and boys like their moms. That is why most of the daughters in these photos are uglier than their mothers.

Sons, on the other hand, resemble their mothers more than their father.

Similar face shapes. I understand that Lily Rose Depp is a supermodel, but for some reason I just don’t “see it” obviously she’s attractive, but I don’t think she’s spectacular or anything like that.

The moms mostly win, but I think Frances Cobain is much better looking than Courtney Love. This is kind of a bad picture of her.

I don't think this is a good picture of either one of them. But I think Lily Rose is just as pretty as her mother.

Eh, if these pictures are supposed to be taken at the same age I think Gwyneth looks younger than her mom. I also don't think Gwyneth has had just a ton of botox and fillers. I also think it's more than likely that staying very thin was something Gwyneth learned from her mother. It's not like that's a new thing in acting/Hollywood.
