We have the instant pot air fryer lid so it uses the stainless steel pot. The lid has plastic components, but so far nothing has tasted off.

It's so quick and makes "fried" foods come out crispier and faster than the oven, and without the splatter of stove top frying. I have a kitchen microwave cart and I keep mine on the lower shelf with my instant pot, out of the way.
